First, why call it heartburn when it isn’t a problem with the heart?  More importantly, how can I quickly stop the pain I feel when I get the various and painful symptoms associated with heartburn.  The primary symptom can be described as a burning pain in the chest, but it can go all the way up the throat and into the mouth as well.
